A full stack Ionic, Angular, TypeScript, node.js, Ionic Storage project. Inspired by Discord and Omegle, where users are able to freely communicate in a "virtual" room via their name + email, with the mimicking ability of sending invites to users via their email.

With the global world edging towards the 5.0 digital age, saving data while maintaining crucial elements of the modern-day lifestyle is a vital part. Thus, Quick Inc. allows users to get instant access upon waking up in accordance with the categories, whilst integrating both into one app for convenience. This could be a new start of a 5.0 digital age, with convenience is highly important.

QuickFix

QuickFix is an app designed for maximizing social interaction while benefiting your knowledge of common errors and solutions in the biggest technology systems - Apple and Microsoft. Using QuickFix, you will have access to a list of common chosen platform's errors and solutions, a direct internet connection to the official online customer help service provided by the technology's company, and a map should you choose to bring your physical device to a nearby or your trusted place to get fixed.

Don't get confused over the app being a book of tips. Think of the app as your interactive friend that can provide you instant solutions to common issues that you might or are facing on the Apple and Microsoft's devices. With all the functionalities that this app offers, you can always rely on a trusted techie friend. One thing to note is that when using QuickFix, your phone should not be on the dark mode for best user experience.

💼 Work Experience

Development Engineer - Multimedia - Griffith University (2023 - Present)

Work involves developing, code, configuring, and maintaining Griffith University’s education platforms via JavaScript, React, and similar platforms. The role takes in user-centred learning experiences, while highlighting the importance of “who builds it fixes it” and multidisciplinary working teams. Also, focuses on the release pipeline and real-time monitoring of IT operations and incorporating automation at every stage of the application lifecycle.

Learning Management Systems Officer - Griffith University (2022 - 2023)

Work involves the migration of courses from Griffith University’s Learning Management System’s Blackboard to Canvas. Committing between 10-20 hours per week for this role. Main roles include Quality Assurance of other officers’ work and migrating courses.

Sessional Instructor - Griffith University (2021 - 2023)

Work with senior lecturers via collaboratively creating contents for face to face seminars of two courses: Information Systems (ICT) and Making Interaction (QCA), with over 400 students with fellow colleagues. Also, facilitated contents that further solidify students’ understanding during workshops.
For Information Systems in the School of ICT, it was during Trimester 2, 2021 for a 12 weeks course from July to October, with 3 workshops per week.
For Making Interaction in Queensland College of Art, it was during Trimester 3, 2022 for a 6 weeks intensive course from November to December, with 2 workshops per week. During Trimester 1, 2023 for a 12 weeks course from March to June, with 2 workshops per week.

Print, Automation & Assets Development Intern - Desygner (2022 - 2022)

The internship lasted for 3 months, developing in the Automation Team, with Aurelia.js, Doctrine, MySQL, PHP, Postman, Symfony. Produced fullstack code that made it live to 20+ million global users.

Co-Founder & Lead Developer - Quick Apps (2019 - 2022)

Founded as an IOS based startup called Quick Apps, that specialises in making accessible mobile apps to benefit people's daily lives.

💼 Volunteering/Community Involvement

Advisor of the Queensland College of Art International Student Association - Griffith University (2021 - Present)

Acting as an advisor between the Queensland College of Art and QCAISA. Was its Co-Leader and on the first Executive Team (July 2021 - Jan 2023).

✍️ Publications

A Conversation With My Peers On Learning And Teaching Programming (Co-wrote with Geraldine Torrisi-Steele) Griffith University (May 2022)

Short Summary: The insights from the conversations, when juxtaposed against literature, served to crystallize critical themes in teaching programming literature and provide a platform for deeper discussion around learning and teaching of programming.
